@Meierhans ...of course that was based on being in a closed bus in winter. It would likely be true in airconditioned public transport as well. But here in latin america...we open the windows , even in winter. So...open the windows to be safer. One thing about this article that is worrying...it is implying that people who are recently infected....like by minutes, are contagious. I find that hard to believe. And interestingly it said that the closest passengers to patient X were not infected.

@stonebat...the infection rate is a bell curve...maybe a flatter and longer bell curve depending on how bad a job we do fighting it, but.....it goes up, and then goes down. It's way, way too late for the USa. Trump's absolute stupidity saw to that. Of course there were many warnings unheeded. And most other world leaders, except maybe Putin, screwed the pooch as well. Look at Russia's numbers. But individually, if self isolation is too late, then why is the govt telling older people to stay at home ? The greatest part of that bell curve an individual evades infection, the bigger chance they stand of not becoming infected...this year. No one on planet earth knows what the coronavirus will bring next year.

Mordor numbers are good mostly because it has 2-3 labs being able to make test across all country.

Well, mostly no. We had tens of thousands of Chinese who entered after "shutdown" only on planes. All had been just asked to impose self quarantine, almost one of them actually did it.
