I release "GOLGOP3-13_SednaAQ1A_V2.2" and "GOP3ZILLA_SednaAQ1A_V2.2" settings.

Of course, these are also the settings focused on image quality with LARGE I-FRAME SIZE except 60p and 50p.

And, I am also focusing to stability.

"SH" is improved in stability from the previous versions. Others are the same as before.

Still struggling with my own patch.
720 pal is i think now good enough, ad least for what i use it.
Completly stable. and a clean image up to 3200iso and high shutterspeeds.

HBR is another story, a real pain, but today i did get better results with the scaling settings from @driftwood new Mysteron.
But 24p dont work anymore, no problem i never use it, only to test and see whats happens with different settings in ptool 3.65
Am i right that if you set 24p good, HBR is shit.
But when focussing on HBR, 24p is trubble.
What i mean is, is it imposible to make them both good.
I can get them both some better, but then 720 is getting worse!...

I realy want to get the max out of my 720p setting..
720 is with Sedna A and HBR with Mysteron.

Currently using GOLGOP3-13_SednaAQ1A_V2.2 and it's the best yet in my low light 'stairwell torture test'. Also shot some Cinema (24fps/ISO160/f14/vibrant -2-2-1-2) this afternoon and was very impressed. Got a keeper here. Don't know about spanning and such but it recorded 22 short clips w/o write errors and they were view-able in camera. Also folded in Pasadena_Pulse_Audio_V2_Beta2 for use with Panasonic 'shotgun' mic and sound was excellent. Thanks you all for this fountain of knowledge. Bkmcwd UR the best :-)

It seems to be related if surely an interlace is taken into consideration.

@bkmcwd 1080i/HBR will use lower field P encoded. If you are on default Q, a matrix of 255 values in the P scaling table will generate a Quant of 20 throughout the lower field. ie you dont need excessive values. If you are setting IQ/Q values lower then experiment. But my P tables should be suffice (ok)!

I've continued with testing the latest 4 patches with the Sedna A and the HQ Matrix. All work really great at 24H. At HBR/25p they all show some issues. I do notice compression artefacts here and there. Too, I-Frames are significantly smaller than shooting the same scenes with the respective patches without custom matrix. So I'll stick to your original patches (GOP3ZILLA 2.1 & GOLGOP-13 4.2) for the time being.

720p pal and HBR have now almost the same bitrates, but 720 looks better.
Just changed some settings for HBR and upgraded the 720 bitrate, but batteries is almost empty, no testing anymore today.

FYI...:

GOLGOP13-V4.12 crashes in HBR/25p mode: write speed error on SanDisk 95MB/s (32GB).

GOP3ZILLA-V2.11 shows an unenven cadence on B-Frames (see attachment) on the same SD card. This is not from a codec stress chart shot off a monitor ... it's a tungesten lit, highly detailed texture (static).

I think the former GOP-tables for 1080i50 worked better (more reliable).
