I have a live shoot coming up next week. Can anyone confirm that the time limit hack works on the a6500? I need to record 75 minutes continuously, preferably in 4K. I know the a6300 has issues with overheating which is one of the reasons I am opting for the 6500. Thanks.

Ken made A6500 review
A6500 looks great for the fun shots people make with mirrorless cameras. For my vacations, it looks wonderful! Get this A6500 for your vacations, or if size and weight are more important than price or performance. Get a DSLR like a Nikon or Canon for serious shooting
Color rendition is how pictures look in the real world. Real-world color rendition has nothing to do with color accuracy measured in a lab.
The A6500 is the girl you date for fun and good times until you find something better, while a DSLR is the woman you marry for a lifetime of serious pursuits.
sony a6500 has some issues with artifacts in low light and high iso, macroblocking and tearing, as FS5 had. [url]
Sony has to fix it, as with fs5 did with an update http://www.xdcam-user.com/2016/01/sony-make-official-statement-regard-fs5-image-artefacts/#comment-89823
@toxotis70 This is the ghosting that has been seen at medium to high ISO since at least the a6000 due to temporal noise reduction.

Lol typical ancient canon/nikon thinking.
ì think sony should fix it now, a6500 isnt a cheap camera anymore...
If they "fix" it, then the video noise levels will increase drastically. They use temporal noise reduction. This can be a side effect of that.
the did it with sony FS5 and there was no problem at all!
Do you have a link to an fs5 before/after video? I think this may be a different issue...
its the same issue... macroblocking and tearing in very low light, high iso.
