Fujifilm X-T2 delivers excellent image quality, with high speed focus, and excellent noise performance. Every new release from Fujifilm gets better, and the X-T2 certainly delivers great results.

GOLD 86%. Seems well deserved. And with Fuji, you can count on 2-3 years of firmware updates. Pretty safe bet that they will fix some of the flaws described in the review.
First experiment to intercut the XT-2 with my C100mkII. I had hoped to have the XT-2 as a companion in this way and I'm pretty happy about it already.
Camera settings in the video and more info in the description. Short report is that I used Wide DR and ProNegStd dialed down. I shot the XT-2 in 4K.
I didn't use my ColorChecker Passport. To set exposure and white balance on both cameras, I merely looked at the two screens (man - amazing how much better the C100mkII screen is vs mkI) and then went into the XT-2's custom WB to take out a bit of green that I saw on the XT-2's screen compared to the C100. Once in Final Cut, I made separate exposure adjustments but no further color adjustments to either camera other than take an almost equal amounts of red out of the mids. I'm pleased it was that easy.
One thing I noticed tho is that the C100 seemed to have more information to push around in the file. If I needed to be more aggressive, the C100's internal AVCHD seemed more robust. The XT-2 wanted to crush blacks with less adjustment.
I'm a CLog person mostly and curious about FLog to compare. No desire to dump another $850-$1200 on a 4K recorder just now, nor would I want the additional bulk considering how I want to use the XT-2 - b-cam, small spaces, etc. Hoping on FLog internal.
The XT-2 is my primary stills camera. I've been shooting with Fuji for stills since the XT-1 came out - sony shooter previously. I've been using C100's since moving on from the GH4.

I will also mention that I spoke with Billy at the Fuji booth at PhotoPlus (NYC) last Friday and he asked how the XT-2 has changed my work. Obviously I talked with him about video and being "almost" there.
I emphasized the shortfalls for me were the lack of exposure tools in video (histogram, zebras, etc.) to which he was very acknowledging - "That's a priority for me too." I also mentioned the desire for internal FLog - "We are hearing that from everyone..." He will be in Tokyo next month and said he would be bringing two months of feedback with him. His tone was appreciative and optimistic. It was clear to me that they don't feel at all complete with camera's video as it currently stands.
We'll see if there is anything interesting with tomorrow's rumored firmware update. But I would be surprised if anything substantial for video will come then. But maybe...

They must add two tunable zebras (low and high) and colors histogram. Plus I also want to see false colors function.
Fujifilm is still not fully into video, still much focus is on still crowd.
@Vitaliy Agreed. Having never had a colors histogram even for stills is confounding. Moving from photo mode to best evaluate exposure to video mode to shoot is beyond clunky. Very easy to bump the SS dial and shift from 1/50th without noticing. Etc.
I should have said, Billy, look at the exposure tools in a Canon after a Magic Lantern install. Do that.
The Fuji XT2 with battery grip seems like an excellent mirrorless camera for stills. I downloaded the raw files into Lightroom and gotta say that I really like the PROVIA/STANDARD and ASTIA/SOFT profiles. I compared that to all of the different Nikon profiles and I actually prefer the Fuji colors over the Nikon colors different strokes for different folks.
I only shoot in raw but after watching the camerastoretv video on Nikon Jpegs decided to shoot Raw plus JPEG recently. Guess what the JPEGS came out great to the point where I basically used the JPEGS instead of the raw files for a Portrait session that I did yesterday.
On the internet everybody seems to be raving about the colors from the Fuji XT2 especially the JPEGs SOOC so I am probably going to buy the Fuji XT2. I am a little hesitant though and am not sure what to believe because I don't necessarily believe everything I hear on the internet. The other benefit for me would be EVF on the Fuji XT2 over a optical viewfinder on my D750's which means less chimping.
I was going to buy the Sony A99II but then the A mount is not very flexible. At least with the Fuji XT2 I can buy the 56mm 1.2 and the 23mm F2 and then adapt my other Nikon lenses to the Fuji XT2. I thought about the Sony A7R2 but a lot of people seem to complain about the Sony colors and I don't want to spend all of my time messing with colors in Lightroom/Photoshop.
Maybe I am being picky but download the files and open them up in Lightroom and see for yourself. Let me know your thoughts....
Ok enough said I am sold on this camera. This will be my Christmas present to myself ;-)
I would love to get an X T2 if only there was a way to get it around 1300€
Has anybody some color graded (for cinmatic purpose) footage?

I think that the Post headline is not very correct after all these reviews and samples, this is not really a "Limited 4K" camera.
