need advice. Lomo anamorphic lens 20mm, 35mm,50mm 2.3. Are they ok?

    Guys, I'm looking for ''that'' look for my short film. Only one rental in my town got anamorphic lenses. The set of LOMO 20mm,35,50mm 2.3. Are they good lens? Some experience?

    I use Lomo lenses and love the look it produces. Mine aren't anamorphic but perhaps look is similar. I think there's footage online with Anamorphic Lomo shots. Good luck.

    Spherical lomo anamorphics are good, with a lot of personality but they need to be stopped down to about f5.6 to get really sharp. Make some tests before, if you can - go try them out with the camera you intend to be using. Rental shops are usually helpful when it comes to stuff like that.

    I would check out the work work of Ryan Glover. He has been using Lomo anamorphics since the days of the GH13 and used to be on the forums before the days of PV. He has grown up professionally since those days.
