Further roadmap:
2015: Technology to receive data from modulated LEDs via smartphone cameras is shown.
2016: Some hipster shops use this gimmick to advertise their overpriced fashion goods.
2017: Since it's almost zero cost to implement the reception logic in smart phones, it comes as a standard feature in most new smartphone devices. Activated automatically whenever the camera is turned on.
2018: Applauded by the media industry, government authorities decree that a feature to "blind" the camera when a LED-transmitted signal tells to do so becomes a mandatory smart phone feature.
2019: Police violence is finally saved (again) from being witnessed by a broader public, as uniform integrated LED transmitters constantly emit a "blind camera" signal.
Twelfth of never: This technology is used for the better of mankind.
