You're not on your own, I too am struggling to get this to work with an iphone. Looking back at the history of the app 'Lumix Link' and googling around other people are also having with FX90, SZ5 cameras. Trying ipad now.

Ok its weird. Lumix Link android/phone/ipad app is either very poor or the wifi part of the GH3 is clashing with the lvf sensor: i.e. The shutter icon is always greyed out unless you put your hand near the evf sensor and the shutter icon lights up on Lumix Link then you can take a photo (but not movie recordings) ! If you don't put your hand near the lvf after taking a picture it will say 'Please Wait' forever until you move your hand near the LVF. Useless! The lvf trick is the only way top clear the 'Please Wait' error. Turn off the LVF in menu and nothing happens.

Strange - I defo see an early firmware upgrade or an app upgrade in the very short future. :-)

An odd occurrence and something we were only able to fix by removing and then reinserting the battery. Our sample came with the latest firmware, however Panasonic have told us that a further firmware update will be released in the near future to fix this."

Manu4Vendetta if you take a shot please use a tripod, a wide angle lens ad a big f number and capture something with a lot of fine detail, videos like this don't tell anything about the camera.

Nope. Not from what I'm seeing in my brief tests. Ive attempted the AF/AE Lock, half-focus, hit record: the AF/AE indicator goes out.
