now that's what I'm talking about!:) Now imagine sth like that but with FF/mattebox/lens/camera reviews and wihtout a bra. Now that's something I would pay good money to see.
That girl has fake boobs, i think it gives a porn attitude to the clip, not very professional! I think that only natural boobs should be shown. Btw really nice tutorial!
There are a lot of sites about gear. Some of them are useful. But for a long time I've been looking for quality blogs/sites about broader topics, such as narrative techniques, composition, use of colour, creative lighting, etc.
Of course, there's academic research and there's film critique, but they tend not to look at it from a film maker's practical point of view. Often when these topics are covered, I find it without much thought or depth. I guess the reason is that if someone would really knew how to make films, they'd be out there doing it and wouldn't spend there days blogging about it :)
Yeah. Also important part is that if you'll start making videos about colour, lighting, etc you'll need to sell them. For gear pay either manufacturers directly, or advertising. So, explanation is simple.
Dont worry VK. In a few years some company will have found a way to patent a colour scheme (say warm subject tones with cool background). Then we'll have bloggers all over it with comission based links :)
I think that we must start patent numbers. Boom, and you are owner of 6723409 for a year. Apple and Microsoft will have most in the first 255. :-) Spammers will get first million (but each will be obligated to pay rent to owners of byte, word, dword parts and all multipliers) So you'll have special counter in OS for each number and big button to instantly pay for your patent infridgements.
As a 'filmmaker', I would also be interested in web sites that provide independent films for viewing. Good sites that categorize and allow one to watch indie films. Something like netflix for indie films. Any suggestions?
