802.11 is a set of wireless protocol standards.
It can't be that hard if my laptop can use it all over the world.
It appears that the GH3 does not have a limit on the shutter duration for its "Bulb" mode. All other cameras have a limit of either 120, 128, or 256 seconds.
The specifications pages for all other Panasonic camera pages state their bulb limits. That has been omitted for the GH3. I don't believe they would leave this out unless it was truly unrestricted now. This is excellent news for Astro Photography with the GH3.

Hope for positive version here.
@mpgxsvcd I sincerely hope so, this was on of the features i greatly missed on GH2 and, hope they have integrated a similar system a la O-MD, that let's you frame your shot in real time and then take your long exposure. If pany wants to play with the big boys in the stills Pro market, i would expect to have a no limit shutter in Bulb mode. This might be another deal breaker for me if this wasn't the case. Cant wait for people to get their mitts on it and get some answers :-)
I don't know if it's relevant but batteries for GH3 and it's battery grip are on preorder in Switzerland. The battery grip's price run between 270$ and 320$ depending on shops, and the batteries between 80$ and 110$.

@Vitaliy_Kiselev Maybe I missed it. Any reference to control the camera via USB like Nikon or Canon that can be controlled through Lightroom or other apps?
I had the opportunity to try GH3 today in Paris Panasonic Press Conference. It feels great in hands, Firmware is not yet final but GH3 seems really impressive to me. I am supposed to be trying it further in a few weeks. I'll post tests on Vimeo and Flickr
So.. about the sensor, it was designed for long shot recording times, so heat disipation was first in list, i didnt knew that. Thats why sony comes in, making 20+ megapixels sensor video capable in small body they have special know how about internals in sensor. (Panasonic has not reach that pixel count in mass production, even in pro industry solutions )
Thats why the sensor has that framing of whiter color, and the bulkier design even if its smaller. Now i see the light lol.
I may be wrong though.
GH3 will be a better photo-cam, but in the video GH2 (hack) is still the No.1 - I will not buy the GH3 only times
