Also, it'd be cool to be able to control the "Zebra bar" function. Rather than it blinking at 100%, it would be cool if you could pick a percentage for highlights to start blinking at.
I don't know if it is possible but: i had a canon compact camera (sx200) and i was able, with chdk hacked firmware to select a wider range range of iso settings than with the original firmware, also iso 10 for example. If it is possible it should be one of the greatest improvement (no need of ND filter). Obviously the most important improvement now is 25p, but also the af tracking during video.
A simple ETC enhancement would be instant switching when the function is assigned to an Fn key. Right now you have to OK the change with an ON/OFF menu, which is a total waste of time.
>It would also be nice to have the ex tele convertor function while recording
Yes, it'll be nice. But only after dumping and reversing we'll know if this is possible.

I see pluses and minuses here. And perfectly understand that accident key press can ruin your shot if you make it instant.
it would be great: after focusing with touch (in video mode) - return to normal mode after two-four seconds, without half-pressing the shutter button. sorry for bad english)

Well no, because you can't change the setting during the shot anyway. And I doubt this could be changed, as it probably involves changing the sensor mode and that would cause a glitch. So the ON/OFF menu is pointless.

Is it so important then? As changing logic here could be not so easy as it looks on first sign :-)
> Is it so important then? As changing logic here could be not so easy as it looks on first sign :-)
Yes, because I often toggle the setting during Live View to see if the zoom would work for a shot. Having to go through a pointless menu defeats the convenience of the Fn key. So it should just toggle : ).
Of course Panny should fix this themselves, but I guess they're not rushing to release firmware updates ; ).
Why in the name of all things good did Panasonic disable ETC mode while HDMI socket is in use? Can the processor not handle it or something? Waiting for you to do your magic, V :)
What do you mean under this? If something like stabilizers used in cheap cameras then it won't be possible, of course. As it is always special hardware in cameras. If you look at software plugins that do similar things in post you'll see how demanding they are.
