    Should be illegal to call an F4 lens "Pro" unless it is a specialty lens.

    F4 for such range lens is good for video. Lacking F2.8 can be actually big plus for many.

    I am huge fan for F4 lenses for interviews and casual stuff. They stop people from making one more error.

    OM Digital Solutions GmbH is pleased to announce the development of two new lenses that conform to the Micro Four Thirds System standard.

    It's true that not having F2.8 can be useful, but the lenses I have seen so far have not impressed vs 2.8 options. Maybe this one will be better. The $99 Olly in more or less the same range is actually very sharp, but no constant F stop.

    The newly announced Olympus 20mm f/1.4 Pro and Olympus 40-150mm f/4 Pro, recently announced in a lens roadmap, are not yet on the stand but are available in a few weeks and ePHOTOzine will be reviewing the optics as soon as they are available.
