The Panasonic 42.5mm f1.7 (which is the one I assume you are referring to?) costs literally several times more than this new one.

The Panasonic 42.5mm f1.7 costs enough that I think to myself do I really REALLY need it? When I've got so many lenses, and camera dept / photography is not my main #1 focus / income.

But at $73 (one price I read? At photorumors) or even $89 (current Amazon price) then I think, what the hell, why not?
