1: I’m still thinking why'd should I buy one as creator if no one have one. 2: low angle of 3D only like 140 degrees 3: Odd format. I know if for cell phone use mainly but, still strange. No all content is 9:16 4: Lidar is not know by mainstream that well.

I suppose that this is the natural progression from the existing AI "depth" sensor cameras on phones at the moment. Why just use the technology to blur the background when you could also use it to create proper 3D images / video.
