I expect that in 2-3 weeks time they will cancel 8/40 hours work week due to big demand from people, and will allow you to work 12 hours per day (for less money).

You try to mix personal interests and class interests. You also assume that some of the class representatives can't be altruistic. They can.

No, it was not supposed to stop in China, but China had been supposed to have pause, but such pause that it won't be able to make product required to calm things down. Full fledged thing for China was not an option, as in such case that will already have tens of millions of young workers who are past this, so, no fear and all of medical factories working 24/7. Well, hydroxychlorquine can't be patented (as it is already had been and it is over), it means that it can be made for cheap. And as I understand hydroxychlorquine had been made to extend intellectual protection on chlorquine.

@RoadsidePicnic ...I have no idea what is a manipulation pharmacy. If it's a generic drug , it should be widely available...unless it's made in China, and they're not sending it. O...it's called a compounding pharmacy. I've never heard of them before now. Don't know. Sounds expensive though....and they don't exist to my knowledge in Mexico. Generic drugs are risky enough.

Pharma companies is much more than drug cartels. They can have drug substance being made and packed in big plastic buckets in totally horrible place in India or Rural China (fully abstract, say for $1 per 100 grams), move it to nicer looking intermediate ($10 per 100 grams), and make tablets and pack it on place ($500-1000 per 100 grams), add here distribution, retails and taxes and you have final $2000-3000 per 100 grams, with lot of people not being able to afford it (and serious people discussing it with serious faces!).

USSR had such in almost every drug store. You could make quite complex things on prescription, almost or fully free.
