Yep but ordered on the 7th June, not shipped, no return email on update......ummmm, will wait but surely when you post stuff for sale on ebay you should have a disclaimer saying stock will need to be sourced etc. Will keep waiting.

I wish I bought it before the small price increase, but I took the plunge cause it seems like the price might increase again. I wasn't really intending on buying a follow focus until I had enough money for the TrusMT FF which costs 460$ shipped, but it seems like this one is well worth it. I am very curious however to see how the two follow focuses compare with each other. We know the TrusMT is very very good and that this is good so how much more quality do you get for an extra 300$ difference ? We'll see...

I've done a lot of research on FFs. Who ever gets one, please report back on 2 things. 1) is there any backlash changing directions. Any play? Also, it appears more drag, tighter focus wheel is preferred by pro ACs.

I think I'll wait until they have a proper speed handle and whip. A speed handle is how an AC sets the ending focus for a shot.

Looks like the Ebay seller now will also offer a rail system and mount soon. The pictures look pretty cool. FF delayed now till 23/6.

Also has an optional shoulder mount.

I think I like the CarrySpeed red better than the blue and I like their woven rods better too. What I don't like is the way the camera seems to dip forward in the pics.

This rig has problem - you can't adjust camera heigh.

I hope chinese sellers will have better prices.

This rig really can go for $100 with alu rods. Add $100 for arm and handle. And it'll be not bad.

I don't want to sound too negative, but are people not going a bit too overboard here until we have some good feedback from someone who has a copy to test. I mean it is not just how much it looks but more so how it function that is important for a follow focus. Until now we don't know how much play in the gearbox, construction etc. Just the play could change it from the best bargain to unusable sh...t. I am for a drastic decrease in the cost of dslr/cine gear but a follow focus needs much more precision than a support rig and for me it is better to wait for feedback.

Even play for most people won't make it shit.
And no one here prevents you to wait for feedback. Do it.

Anything is that works better than taking hands off a rig handle to pull focus has to be good. Not everyone is looking for precision.
