We have received confirmation from a trustworthy source who is familiar with the subject, Microsoft 365 will actually include Windows 10 for consumers.
This is first small step. As I told previously Microsoft already decided to move individual users 100% to subscription bases model with additional advertisements (won't be able to turn them off, special item in legal agreement making it illegal to do using third party tools). Corporations will mostly see price hike instead.
Windows 10 will be just test bench for this approach, Microsoft already postponed first small move from mid 2019 to mid 2020. Next version of OS is designed with total tracking, advertisements integration into interface, signed store only software model and monthly subscription only.
Yeah, they needed to get rid of Windows 7 first, so I would expect some movement on a future subscription model later (summer/autumn) in 2020.
So it will be LTS or Linux on the long ru I guess. https://www.rakuten.de/produkt/microsoft-windows-10-enterprise-ltsb-2016-vollversion-downloadusb-download-V3196788065?cid=adwords&sclid=a_rmm_de_pla_804-543-6946_3196788065_c&lizenzfuchs-de_106550&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInqv2iszZ5gIVA-h3Ch0RdQCrEAkYASABEgL7jvD_BwE
