Matrix Info Systems provided a price comparison for Intel CPUs sold by authorized distributors in India, Japan, the U.S., and Germany.
That means a CPU purchased from an Intel Authorized Distributor costs 2.6x as much as the same processor would from a reseller in the U.S.
Modern capitalism - land of parasites. Especially if you account that cost to manufacture of same processor is around 5-10% of final pricing.
@Vitaliy_Kiselev they are excluding taxes in this price? Don't know how it is in India, but here in Brazil the price is about the double of the US, because of import taxes (and, of course, some greed).
