    Senior Trump administration officials met on Wednesday to discuss whether to seek legislation prohibiting tech companies from using forms of encryption that law enforcement can’t break. Senior officials debated whether to ask Congress to effectively outlaw end-to-end encryption, which scrambles data so that only its sender and recipient can read it.

    Long dream of NSA may become true.

    And soon every US citizen could see on their own that US has one of the best censorship systems that is able to ban sites and software fast and efficient.

    It is not idea of Trump itself.

    Also look for latest UK, Germany and such initiatives considering same things.

    Proper move by people must be from standard browsers and such into custom fast changing protocols with end to end encryption. As such thing make tracking equipment costs skyrocket by around 100x.
