Seems like some ex Sharp guys infiltrated Huawei.

As it is hard to do more idiotic thing. Idea here is to widen transmission spectrum and boost sensitivity by damaging real color perception and trying later to fix some by software. It is like RGBW sensors, but worse.

OLED panel for the P30 Pro is supplied by BOE and LGD

It is major blow for Samsung who supply only cheaper P30 panels.
BOE will be main supplier and LGD more like backup one.

Can this have something to do with the disgusting reddish tint of the main camera sensor on video but also in most of the photos?
As far as I can see from tests, that doesn't seem to happen with the wide or telephoto lenses, that I guess use RGB sensors.

I was planning to buy this phone looking for great battery and solid camera performance, but if the colors look as fucked up as I've seen in the tests, I might have to look somewhere else.

¿Suggestions?
