    Oh nice! But I feel like Tascam is lacking behind Zoom's F series by too far, they need to drop the price a bit more and/or release a newer high ish end product.

    Where exactly they "lacking"? Especially if their product is different and cheaper.

    Metadata and internal TC, plus external options like the mixing board or bluetooth, just to quickly name a few points which makes the likes of a F4/F8 miles ahead of the DR701D
