It says it is designed for GH series cameras but the payload is only 650g? Even the G85 with kit lens is too heavy for that. GH5 with no lens is way over.

Yeah, for G85 and the GHs, probably will not work - albeit I saw some videos from a guy that uses it with a G7.

I have one and use it with my GX85 - works perfectly, even with the Rokinon 12mm f/2 (total weight 682 grams).

Still have to test heavier combinations to see if it works. Some says that center of gravity is more important than weight.
