I've spent the better part of today reading old posts and hunting around the internet.
Any hacks that led to a progressive output from the HDMI port? 1080p or 720p, rather than 1080i.
Thanks
It is all hardware things.
And what you need this for?
I use the BlackMagic ATEM and it requires all inputs to be the same. Currently we connect 2 GH2 cameras and a Mac Mini. I am trying to find a way to integrate a 4th generation Apple TV, however it will only send a 720p or 1080p signal. The ATEM can't use sources with different video settings (1080i AND 1080p at the same time). So, I am researching both whether I can get the GH2 cameras to 1080p or the Apple TV to 1080i.
Maybe convert it beforehand?
Something like this perhaps, or something else?
Or this, bit more expensive:
