Well damn, that is a nice saving! If it had been available last year I wouldn't have bothered buying the whole Newsshooter Kit and just purchased this.

But you still need RX-CAM receiver to be able to use TX-XLR transmitter? Trying to find one with affordable price, but seems that Newsshooter bundle kit would cost in total ~same amount like when buying separately.

Yes, but I already own a RodeLink Filmmakers Kit from when they first launched ;-)

But ridiculously bulky. I own one, but don't recommend if you ever work on shoots where you care about concealment.

@IronFilm Yes, and when concealment is not an issue, fast, reliable, no interference (that I have personally experienced yet) - a treat of a set-up.
