How does the image look when shooting the FS7 in really poor/low light at ISO 8000+?
it works but it's not a low light monster. I would consider 8000 ISO as the limit and depending on the subject you will need noise suppression already on lower ISO than 8000. If you need low light shots on a regular base the A7s (2) is the way to go.
The parts are already on the shelf and better ones every year.
It is just a matter of time till an affordable and superior low light CamCorder is released.
I pray for patience, but I want it now!
Don't think so. The new FS5 is quite disappointing in low light at least in 4K. A replacement for the FS7 will not show up before 2017. Now means A7s. Pray for patience needs some stamina.
The good news is that Neat Video exists, and if you need to shoot at 12800 you can do it and know that Neat Video will clean it up very well, especially with the latest release.
