I'm currently an AF101 shooter but need a lighter/compact option and I'm thinking to buy a GH4 body to use on overseas events jobs with my Olympus 12-40 & 40-150.
I have a MixPre-D and a few sets of Sony wireless radio mic's so what else would I need to get clean audio into the camera so I can achieve the following:
Also can anyone recommend some sort of cage or bracket and shoulder rig for run n gun type shooting with the audio kit attached,
Cheers
Ok, I spoke to CVP in the UK and I can get audio into the cam via Tape Out on the Mixpre to the GH4 input, so now I just need some sort of shoulder mount/cage to attach the MixPre and make the cam balanced, anyone have any recommendations?
It depends on that you need
You can look at cheap ones http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/15929/neewer-cheap-rigs#Item_2
Or use some type of real cage.
Ah ok - this looks like it could work and the price is reasonable with fair reviews on Amazon, thanks been looking online and the prices on some of these rigs are ridiculous - I just need an additional bracket to mount the MixPre to it somehow
By idea can attach good to C arm, it has holes.
Ok cool, will check this out thanks
