Yes it is still crap not to have wide angle out of the box.

Despite the lack of wide angle 4K, I like the overall package of this camera. I can carry a tiny cam for Ultra Wide angles when needed. For most of the work I do this would cover most of it in a very handy package. It's a very compelling camera. I also still like the Sony RX10 II which has the constant f2.8 lens. I wish this FZ2000 had a constant f2.8 even if it meant a short focal range.

Actually the FZ1000 slow zooming is NOT so bad as in the video.

No, because it's still big jumps between each ND setting (2 stops each I believe). Same as the manual ND settings, just the camera is setting them, not you. The FS5 ND moves in steps so small they're basically imperceptible.

and they traded that quite useful 4k live cropping kenburnesque feature for that absolutely useless, maybe once, dolly zoom ! Man I wish panasonic would just make the camera I want !

Just turned mine on, and I've noticed the change in F stop from F4~F4.5 starts at around 90mm in FHD, and 130mm in UHD, which means the lens is actually slower than the one in FZ1000 which can maintain F4 to 400mm.
