Just found this interesting DIY monitor kits at aliexpress.com $217.55 There is also 5.9 inch models with 1440*2560 resolution. Wonder if it accepts 1080p signal from Panasonic GH and Blackmagic cameras. Have no idea how to control brightness, color temp and other settings :)

the seller told that it is PC only monitor and not tested with 24 hz. It is possible to control backlight brightness (but don't explain how) they also got 5 inch and 5.5 inch panels
