Proposé en coloris noir et argenté, le Panasonic 25 mm f/1,7 sera disponible au mois d'octobre 2015 au prix conseillé de 199 €.
Price in EU lower? LOL
Why no OIS?
Are you surprised? Its pretty rare to have OIS on a 50mm equvalent lens, isnt it? Off the top of my head the Sony E mount 35mm is the only one I can think of. Hopefully it will become a trend now, finally.
A new 35mm 1.8 from Tamron is coming for Aps-c sensor, and it does have VC.
Sorry, is something very different, but it's a prime lens, 50mm equivalent, more or less.
Wow!

I though that whole new F1.7 primes line will have OIS.
Obviously made to compete with the Olympus 25mm 1.8. Personally I can't see any reason to get it unless you are a hard core pan fan, the Olympus beats it in almost all aspects I think.
I think that this lens has a better price to quality ratio compared to Olympus 25mm f1.8.
I get mine in 2-3 days.

What does that even say? I cant read that language.
What language exactly MTF chart or review in Deutsch?
well both i guess, whats the review say basically lol
Sharpness is quite another matter and the center at f/1.7 is already very good, rising to excellent levels by f/4 and maintaining this through to f/8. This falls very slightly to very good levels at f/11, is still good at f/16 but only fair at f/22.

BH and Adorama are selling it for $99!
Yep, Adorama also sell it for same amount via Amazon now
The review lens showed itself to be a stellar performer in the Imatest tests we carried out with the GX8 camera body. JPEG files from this camera came very close to meeting expectations for its 20-megapixel sensor at f/1.7, met expectations at f/2.2 and remained above expectations through to f/8, after which diffraction kicked in.

Just bought my G7 and with a discount i just paid $49 in that lens! I already paid more than that on a c-mount lens! lol... So i'm very happy with the deal.
