From DPR: "In a nice touch, Panasonic has removed the 29 minute, 59 second recording restriction from non-European models, so it's only European users who might by stymied by the workings of EU duty regulations. "
From BHPhotovideo (talking about US model): "Video Clip Length Up to 29 Min 59 Sec".
No good for me; I need 60+ recording capacity. Hope this is an error on BH's part—can a US/Canada model-holding user here clarify?

In coming week we'll have the answers :-) Do not worry.

Any new insights on this one?

Has anybody used/tried a remote shuttle (cable) on the GX yet? I've got an original DMW-RS1 which does work on the G6 - even though both the G6 and GX8 manuals state DMW-RSL1 as compatible. It does not work on my GX8. Is there some difference between RS1 and RSL1? One can find many models which are said to be compatible with both RS1 and RSL1.... The original DMW-RSL1 is quite expensive just for testing if there is a problem with my GX8. And yes, I do know the WLAN features - but a cable remote has advantages.
Has anyone compared/reviewed the E-Stabilisation + compatible Mega OIS lens on the GX8 vs the IBIS of the Olympus cameras?
I guess that Mirrorlessons made it in a previous article.
