Don't know why, but it's always hard to find good looking font for movie title text, credits etc.. especially for drama, so funny fonts are out of questions.
Any recommendations? Links to free fonts? Commercial fonts also ok, if not too expensive.
Of course it's also matter of taste, but let's see :)
The font packs are part of the problem. There's too many fonts. I want to find only the good looking ones.
Well, but you need to look :-)
If you're on Adobe Creative Cloud, I think they sometimes do font updates, so if on Adobe check your updates.
I change my question.
What font YOU think looks good?

stick with the same font in all your films like Woody Allen and it will boost your fame potential?
Woody Allen’s use of either EF Windsor Elongated or EF Windsor Light Condensed is perhaps the most recognizable association between a director and a typeface.

Just go with Times New Roman. It's the content that matters, right?
It's the content that matters, right?
Yep :-) In such approach it is best to use software that makes font from your own handwriting.
Not only you will save money and focus on content only, but you also add so necessary element of mystery, as most of audience could not read your titles at all.
I was going to suggest wingdings to add the necessary element of mystery. People would watch the film 10 times like Kubrick's films to look for secret coded messages revealing the meaning of life or the revelation of a controversial conspiracy theory.
p.s. coincidentally, we were just talking about the importance of 'good looks' in another thread.
Jokes aside, I suppose you could have someone make a custom font for you. Don't know pricing for this, but I suppose its expensive, but maybe a talented young artist would do for a reasonable price.
I think just any movie title looks most dramatic when set in :-)

When in doubt, Impact. For everything else there's Futura.
Designcuts sometimes has awesome font bundles for a throw away price.
