I'm sure its a great lens but its quite a niche lens 75mm whats that on full frame? 150mm? Even for portraits I would head for the 45mm. Good lens, limited use. But people should stop going on about it being the best MFT lens, the 25mm and 45mm are just as good and far more useful for 90% of situations.
Lot's of professionals like a Zeiss 180mm on FF for portraits. Just saying…
Lots of people make birds and not fully clothed girls portraits using 600mm equivalent lenses :-)
It's lovely lens producing razor sharp images.. It's permanently mounted on one of my GH2s (which still rocks) since I've bought it. It is true, that it's not suitable for all situations, but it's great lens, one of the best m43 lenses with AF to date. I use it a lot for video. Lovely bokeh and crystal crisp image with excellent color rendition. On my another GH2 is almost everytime mounted PL 25/1.4.. Another little gem in m43 world.. :)
In terms of sharpness wide open and bokeh rendering, the 75mm delivers great results. I’ve never found relevant traces of vignetting. There is some chromatic aberration in extremely contrasty areas (like the fourth picture below – look at the camera Heather is wearing). I’ve almost always found the sharpness at 1.8 sufficient.

Here is a recent 4 minute film that I shot. All close ups and over the shoulder shots were with the Olympus 75mm f1.8 and the BMPCC. The sharpness of this lens paired with the softer sensor (compared to the GH4 which I also own) of the BMPCC work well together do you think? With the aperture nearly wide open and neat noise reduction added along with the grade, I think it is a very cinematic look.

I've had this lens for years and I'm always amazed at how good it is.
I love this lens, have character. Some photos that I have made with this lens both in my GX8 and my previous GX7.
Sorry, I do not know how to place large photos.
I too love it. It's by far the best lens in its price point. It's not the cheapest lens but it's worth every penny.
