Damn that is cool! Hmm... 45% off sale ends in 3 days... got three days to think about if I'll get it or not!
I see geekbuying has it for the same price, and the sale is also got the same length of time left to run: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/NO-1-G2-Bluetooth-4-0-1-54--Touch-Screen-Sapphire-Glass-Smart-Watch-MT2502A-128MB-32MB-2-0MP-for-iOS-Android---Black-339316.html Funny coincidence perhaps!
Interesting somewhat related factoid: Fake apple watches are out already: http://www.gizchina.com/2015/03/10/knock-off-apple-watch-already-spotted-on-sale-in-china-for-55/
Worth having a read of this first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/other-smartwatches/1-g2-smartwatch-revew-unboxing-t2971437
It is not 45% sale, of course :-) Normal price is around $75-79.
As you see they have different concept - just Bluetooth companion mostly.
One shortage - no automatic screen on yet, promised in future firmware.

They just track each other :-)
XDA forum is fun place, sometimes people who are unable to read manual, all this paired with solutions of fixing simple things using thermo rectal methods.
I own one. And I am so sad to report I've been in full cardiac arrest for several days now. It sucks being dead. Everything was going so well for me.

LOL
Can you make us some demo video?
Btw, issues with such hear rate sensors are common on almost all smart watches.
The heart rate sensor in particular sometimes doesn't work at all, stating that it's unable to find any measurement, even after I sat perfectly "still and quiet" as per instructions. I often had to restart the Gear S to have it all working smoothly again.
Feedback on most expensive Samsung Smart Watch :-)
Chip used in them
OS used - specially modified Nucleus RTOS (in active mode, OS used in huge number of MTK phones) and special OS (in deep sleep 26Mhz mode).
Btw, Samsung Tizen came from Bada, and Bada had Nucleus RTOS as foundation :-)
Some update.
I strongly suggest to get this one instead -
or, if you really need hear rate sensor,
As Chinese stuff has really not good TN screen, and features are hardly comparable.
Samsung updated their older watches to same Tizen OS. They still live shorter time compared to Gear 2, but quite good anyway.
