It can be sad, but this programs had been huge waste of resources with very little results.

I love space exploration. But not sad at all they're sending fewer people up. People in space, cool concept, but if it's not the most efficient way to increase knowledge, let's drop it. Keep the space based scopes running, the antarctic labs funded and the hard drives at Caltech spinning. Screw the Buck Rodgers stuff for now.
