It's effective. She started saving to hit the road with her camera and not think so much!
Hello guys,
I know that my little contribution here is not off topic, but it is not what you'd like to listen right now (GH4 feedback - for me : boring). Anyway, to be straight I have been contacted by a member of the staff of a new and very popular short film festival, asking me to submit my film : http://www.laguarimba.com/ => on vimeo, I wasn't asking for anything.
I did so without any hope, but my film has been chosen.
My first will was to pleased my step father with some travel movie. He didn't liked it. It ended-up being in a film festival.
It would have never been possible without your (our) community (I don't know how) - but I know that it is.
Let's face it. You're the best DSLR community on the web.
Greetings to all.
This new short film festival : http://www.laguarimba.com/ will rise.
Hello,
Just to say that OKNA
has been awarded with the Best Editing prize of the last edition of http://www.laguarimba.com/ film festival in Italy last august. If personal-view wasn't existing I would have probably not buy a new camera (GH2) and this video wouldn't exist. It has been spotted here or on vimeo by the festival staff. It will also be screened in another festival in Porto, Portugal, next week.
So thanks for existing, keep on the good work, thank you again for your kind words and cheers to you all :)
Congratulations You made a very sensitive film Thank you Perchais you might like this
All the best Hervé
@sulph - wow, that's great news! I knew there was something special about OKNA when I saw it. Do you have any other projects in the works that we can look forward to?
Cool, really cool.
@suzres Thank you Hervé. And yes I like I+II+III+ I think that this kind of work could give me ideas for my current project. I particularly like the variety of textures and patterns. I'm very open for suggestions of videos like this one. Please do not hesitate to give me some advice! (I see that you're probably french, are you far from Paris?)
@DanPV Yes! I have a new project, a title keeps appearing in my mind : "Nothing Personal". I'd like to take images from various older videos of my own and put them together with shots of Paris I'm currently working on. And work deeper in the direction of lenght (the feeling of time). Can't say to much right now, have to work more on this before getting a final idea. And thank you for your support! Please do not hesitate to share your work too :)
@Vitaliy_Kiselev Yes it is... I also credited personal-view (Thanks section) in the closing credits of the video :) Have a nice one!
