Just finished editing this from earlier this month!
Mostly GH4 but some GH3 for b cam as well.
Shot in 4k UHD (gh4) and used the standard profile on both cams with the gh4 color balanced slightly to the ble spectrum to match the gh3.
Let me know your thoughts!
@tylerknight really enjoyed that, great when the couple have something nice to say to one another.
Some of the shots in slowmo were really good.
I did feel there were too many shots of the couple, would have been nice to see more of the family and guests.
What lenses are u shooting with?
Thanks @sph1nxster!
Unfortunately that's what they requested, they said they didn't want many shots of the guests and they only paid for a two camera shoot with one person. Normally I would have someone off shooting guests while I'm getting ready for the ceremony etc but money always seems to be an issue ;)
I appreciate it though! The slow motion cuts in quite well I think, you can definitely tell it is a lower resolution but not unuseable!
Panasonic 14-42 kit lens Canon FD 50MM f1.4 with RJ SpeedBooster Pentax SMC 55mm f1.8 m42 mount
That was pretty much all I used for the day!
If anyone's shooting on GH2, there's a new Driftwood patch ('Space') that may be of interest.

Could be very useful for locked-off (type) shots.
Tested it and it carried out going... until battery ran out.
First wedding with voigtlander 42.5mm. Really enjoyed using this lens.
Just wanted to share with you my latest wedding video created in Chicago with Panasonic GH4 / GH3 / GH2 & G6 cameras. There are a few aerial shots using a GoPro Hero3 + DJI Phantom quadcopter & a couple 5D mark III shots if you can spot them – Everything else is pure m43 with manfrotto tripod, slider, and steadicam merlin. Lenses used are Pana 12-35 X F2.8 / 20 F1.7, SLR Magic 25 0.95, Canon FD 50 F1.4 & 55 F1.2 with RJ Lens turbo, Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50 2.8, Helios 44-2 58mm F2, Olympus 9 – 18.
Just finished putting this together GH4 and GH3
sorry, had to take it down for privacy reason. Delete.
Hi, would any of you use a Black Magic Pocket to shoot an entire wedding? I'm using it on weddings as a second cam (first is gh3), just to take some close shots. But I feel it better sometimes, more comfortable, for some aspects it's easier to use, easier to manual focus... yes, not very fast to change Iso or Wb or the electronic iris, but with a manual lens if feel it better. What are yuor thoughts?
What is the most challenging part of shooting weddings with the GH4? Can you provide a concrete example?
Client perception. Clients are familiar with the two large DSLR camera manufacturers and often assume you will be using one of those to photograph their wedding. I tell clients that I also shoot with the Lumix GH4 and if there are any objections – I just show them image examples. That is usually then end of that particular discussion.
