Liked it a lot. But no focus ring is kind of a deal breaker.
Seems to be almost the same size of the 14mm pancake when collapsed.
the lack of focus ring is another major fail from panasonic. I really dont understand why they release a video oriented camera like my gh3 but all lenses are not cine lenses ...
Logical move on this lens. (Because it´s designed to be as small as possible.)
The Panasonic 12-32mm shows impressive sharpness throughout the zoom range, even wide open. There is some slight corner softness, even at the smallest of apertures, but overall it's relatively minor. Diffraction limiting softness is also present to a minor extent from ƒ/16-ƒ/22, however ƒ/16 still displays reasonably sharp centers. All in all, the little Panasonic 12-32mm lens is fantastically sharp

I just stumbled upon this lens on Yodobashi's website. Didn't even know it existed. Anyone have some videos worth sharing from this and a GH2 / G6, or / GH3?
There are some videos using this lens on this thread I think...

As far as I know GX7 can manual focus with arrow keys
The 12-32mm produces very sharp images throughout the entire zoom range, even into the corners. The 12-32mm produces images with nice rich color and good contrast throughout the range. Images are crisp and provide some punch to the images

This lens works on the GH2 (did just check for autofocus). Aperture control is absent when you try it on a BMPCC (Pocket).
This is one of those times when a lens manufacturer just gets everything right. This optic is sharp, lightweight, compact, nice to use and not overly priced. Some people may find the lack of a manual focus ring is not for them, but even so, it's difficult to not be impressed by this little lens.

ordered my wife the GM1 with this lens today... can't wait to get my hands on it :)
Having acquired this lens with the GM1, I find it to be a pleasure to shoot with, showing surprising quality for a kit zoom. It offers me a true wide angle at the 24mm equivalent and is sharp wide open. It handles flare and CA as well or better than any other lens I’ve used for the system and it’s nearly the size of the Lumix 14mm pancake lens. It all adds up to a pretty killer little package.
WOW, Love the image this lens produces. Anyone know the price on these, I noticed it said it came in a kit.
it sells on eBay for about $323 incl shipping...
+1. This lens is a little gem. Adding it to my small camera collection.
The build quality is surprisingly good, the OIS system effective, and it offers excellent image quality throughout the focal range.

Does anybody know if this lens is compatible with the black magic pocket camera? I guess not since it doesn't have a focus ring, if it works with new firmware it would be a great small setup.
@imaginario I used it on the BMPCC. Works! Is small! For Focus you can only use the Focus by the BMPCC. LANC focus works too. Due to the size, I really like it on the Pocket!
@hellrazor Thanks for the feedback! i'll get once of these then. Perfect size with the pocket when you Don't want to draw atenttion and for time-lapse shooting with my gh3. The mega ois should help also when going handheld with the pocket and gh3 for docu style work.
So, on a BMPCC no aperture control? No manual focus? And no IS?
Is there anyone know the transmission stop (T-stop) value of this lens at 12mm f3.5? I would like to know if the lens is worthed enough for its 12mm focal length. Thank you.
@Leto: – Aperture control via keys on the camera = very fiddly. - No manual focus. - IS always on.
