    @Vitaliy No doubt that is their concern, but I actually think they would sell a lot of MFT 10mm/2.8 lenses if they made one. There are no sub-12mm, non-fisheye primes for MFT and a lot of folks have been asking for one.

    At maximum aperture, sharpness is already excellent in the centre of the frame, and good towards the edges of the frame. Stopping down improves performance across the frame, although it takes longer for the clarity towards the edges to catch up to that seen in the centre. Outstanding sharpness is achieved in the centre of the frame at f/4 and sharpness approaches excellent levels towards the edges of the frame at f/8.

    The majority of the frame is crisp, and that's exactly what we're looking for in a premium ultra-wide lens.

    Has anyone found a review where they used one of these via speedbooster on a GH or Blackmagic cam? Seems that working would be too good to be true.

    Ok, I got the 10mm f2.8 Rokinon Nikon mount in recently. Hopefully, I can shed light if anyone's curious.

    It's just a quick little test – I literally just pulled over into a church parking lot and rolled for a bit. I tested it for video on both Gh4 and BMPCC via metabones – regular m43 Metabones for the GH4, and BMPCC Metabones for the BMPCC. Password is: 10mil

    Photo: I also attached a still from the largest photo mode of Gh4. It has the lens' hood in the frame as you can see (I knew that damn built-in hood was gonna be a bitch somehow – who still makes lens hoods built-in!?).

    So… fair warning on that.

    @kingmixer, I wonder if it is the metabones that makes the hood visible in frame...

    I will be getting the MFT geared version next week. Will try to post a video or pics. Hopefully I won't see the hood! But then again, I do mostly video work so that shouldn't be a problem.

    The 10mm makes up for the GH4's UHD crop.

    Yea its only in largest photo mode. I'll try a straight nikon-mft adaptor and see if it's there.

    Yes the lens hood is clear if i use the straight adaptor

    It's definitely the Speedbooster. The hood is probably designed to just barely clear a 1.5x APS-C sensor's FOV, so the GH4's 1.42x effective sensor size with the Speedbooster can "see" the edges of the hood.

    Probably wouldn't be all that hard to bag/tape up the lens and Dremel down the hood a bit. People do it pretty often with fisheyes (cutting the hood off of an APS-C fisheye to use it as a circular fisheye on a FF camera).

    Ok, from initial tests, the angle on the GH4 in UHD is still less wide than a 12mm on full Micro4/3 sensor.
    Build is good, focus is smooth enough, hood and cap feel the most plastic.

    Does anyone know if this lens is too wide, with a speedbooster, to use with a normal mattebox and ND filters? I've not been able to find any information to this effect elsewhere yet.
