Apple new Mac Pro computers

Conundrum

I'm still doing professional edit gigs with FCP - FCPX and Avid on my early 2008 Mac Pro 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Xeon without any problems and I'm just now giving away my 15 year old POWERPC G4 sawtooth with upgraded processor because I never use it for Photoshop anymore, though it is still very capable. Since it's been a few months beyond the last post, I'm wondering how those who purchased one of these machines are doing.. How does the machine perform? As expected? Leaving much to be desired?
