EasyGimbal stabilizer for the GoPro 3. Not cheap but very user friendly.
ahahah, just fantastic!!!!! Who needs a Movi anymore.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't use one of these gimbals on the end of a steadicam. I think you'd just need to reverse the top handle and add a mount on the end - and then there's the easyrig - I think they'd make a great combination.
like the sled mt idea for these things love to see samples using slightly longer lenses, say in the 35-40mm (35mm) range
And the chicken cam ad is beautiful.
thx
see, I have great ideas.. they're just always too late.
I am seriously tempted by this though: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-axis-DSLR-Handle-Gimbal-Glass-Fiber-Stabilized-Camera-Mount-W-servos-Gyro-for-FPV/1204795849.html
Be sure to avoid it. You need good light, carbon and brushless based one. We have links in this topic.
Sled is bad idea. All you need is vest and arm, not sled. As your gymbal already made to stabilize on angle rotations. Arm + skill is doing all else.
Which would be a good vest and arm to support a gimbal system?
If you ask me, it is better to make something specialed. As most existing ones have rather limited vertical range.
that's a good point Vitaliy, there is an indi arm in the US which has a good reach but most need adjustment to raise & lower.
It is not reach only. As you also need very constant force along all the range as gymbal is much lighter than sled. And it makes it not cheap.
For gopro3 (full 3axis)
And for DSLR

Very nice Jlcortex, Did you made the model? I want to buy or make one for gh3. Is there a link to buy/make one. Question for everyone, whats the different between MOVi type of 3 axis and the type that go on a quad? other than just the mount.
Hello SarkyGuitarStudio, we have a Lumix GH2 in this gimbal. we plan to sell it but it is not available now, we probably publish a preorder in 2 weeks https://www.facebook.com/Quaternium
Footage?
I'm interested as well, @jlcortex.
THe Flowcine Gravity one looks awesome! Pulled the trigger on the pre-order.
@Tibsen how much is it?
@sammy it is not cheap, but they are building a lot of upcoming products around this system. Later on, you can add electronic axis controls, steadicam mounts, remote controls (I think joystick for handle) and much more. I had a nice chat with the product designer today. Also, they are have some cool stuff for Easyrigs in the works that they will anounce in the future.

AND, not to forget: it weights 1.3KG and can carry up to 17kg!
