It comes with the FS700 to attach the provided mic (which is on a tiny 15mm rod) to the cold shoe on the handle. I want to get a sturdier one so that I can attach a short carbon rod to it and hang a field monitor off of that.
It's called a whatyamacallit mic holder thingy ma bob - he he he.Only kidding
It's called a "Thingy" Get a rod clamp with a 1/4" X 20 TPI threaded hole. Then screw in a steel shoe mount adapter.
@peternap great idea. thanks.
it's really called a "thingy" lol?
wouldn't it be a mic clip / clamp?
On Chinese ebay it's called " Horse shoe mounting Cigar Circumciser thing, beware, possibly ouch!"
@jleo The manual for my Chinese Tractor calls the grease fittings "Butter Nozzles".

A public reminder not to forget your LCD monitor mount.
@jleo that's hilarious. what is that sign from? they should post those everywhere.
@jleo - Really good! Perhaps you can begin a "Lost in Translation" page. I love this stuff. Thanks
