    Hi guys! I've just received this lens and just as I expected I hate the knob, it's very impractical (it makes it that much harder to focus over the double focus hassle). I was wondering if anybody has tried to remove the prism (the anamorphic glass) to make a standalone adapter, removing the rear element that's used to focus. The goal is to make an adapter much like the Panasonic LA7200. It'd have to be rehoused, of course. Do you think that's a viable option?
