    They choose to release C/Y and Leica R first before EF?

    How many Canon mount users are out there that just can't wait for this thing on m43, a lot more than C/Y and Leica R shooters I'd guess

    Besides, EF is NOT easily converted to MFT with electronic control (with focal reducer or not), or there would be a bunch of options already.

    Has anybody used a speed booster with a GH camera or other M43 for video? All I've found so far is from the Sony NEX series.

    Also Philip Bloom tested the currently selling M43 Speedboosters on the BMCC MFT. Vitaliy posted it earlier in this thread.

    Ya, the CY to M43 and Leica R to M43 boosters. I couldn't find any vids at all. I did see Bloom's but I'm more interested in how it looks with the pannys. Cheers guys.

    Is there any information from that guy @Brian202020 ?, i really want to build something similar, with a 0.5x focal reducer, making any FF lens adapted to m43 while keeping the focal length, i am planning in buying the same focal reducer and build something similar, i am not a serious photographer, but i like to play with lenses so quality is not an issue, also i have a Olympus OM 55mm F1.2 i would like use, it is very soft already so maybe mantaining the focal length will keep the softness away, i don´t know...

    c/y-m43 speedbooster is, in short, awesome. I got mine last week and I´m considering getting another one. Well worth the money.

    It really makes the lenses pop as the zeiss full frame glass looks so much better on a slightly bigger sensor (than m43). Until now, I´ve hesitated to use anything but the 28 f2 and 60 macro on my gh2´s.

    @RRRR Thanks for posting! Did you observe anything negative regarding background? Some of my Contax Zeiss have such beautiful bokeh, I wouldn't like to ruin that. Sitting on the fence for the Speedbooster…

    Absolutely nothing, so far.. (quite the contrary as I´ve observed) I could maybe make a somewhat comprehensive (stills) test with all my c/y glass.

    Obviously, it doesn't ruin anything. The 28mm has a bit nervous bokeh sometimes without it too, and the f…ing beautiful bokeh of the 60mm isn't harmed at all.

    absolutely.. I find in particular the 85mm to improve a whole lot with the SB. Aberrations are much less noticeable, and that is true for the whole range of lenses as far as I´ve observed. Coma is also a lot more under control wide open.

    Here are shots with the 28mm f2.

    The lens is set to the same aperture, although the actual T stop obviously is different. I tried to aim for the yellow sign for far focus (I may have set it elsewhere for some of the first shots) and I tried to keep a distance of approximately 1 meter to the focal point for the near focus shots.

    quick question will the EF version of Metabones work with crop lenses like the new Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 or is it only meant to work with FF lenses.

    It depends on the image circle of the specific lens. I checked the Sigma and it should work. Actually it was right at the border.. so it might vignette a tiny bit at 18.
