They wanna keep it under 2000$. Man, but sharp as "Hattori Hanzo" up to the edge....
Lenses will be built in Germany/Bad Kreuznach. 30&60mm will be next ...

Yep, pricey as I though.
I would pay 1500ish for a wide that I LOVED. This looks like it could be just that.
Could somebody build a lens like this with manual focus smooth as butter for follow focus and with optical image stabilization for cool hand-held cinematography? And then sell it to me for thousand dollars? One could wish.
Something tells me that soon all will move to electronic FFs, as they are much more handy.
So, I think Sony or Panasonic will make something like it, with time.
Does Angulon mean 'Expensive' in German?
Optics should be great (given the price / manufacturer), although I think it looks like a mistake with no manual aperture control. (even more so if it´s focus by wire).
If it had electronic FF, then it would be more interesting for the price. So optically this 14mm may be good, but so is the Olympus 12mm at half the price. Okay, that one doesn't come in black. :) Yet.
Anyone know if this lens has come out yet? I have tried to find updated info, or reasons for a possible delay but had no success.
No clue when it's gonna be released. Just some more specs like AF, automatic aperture control & inner barrel focussing. They say it's over all sharp at wide open, no digital correction needed. I think it's just nice having more professional Lenses joining the MFT standard.

agreed. I am not in the market for another high end lens any time soon, but this is one I really am eager to see others test.
