@Vitaliy_Kiselev, I dont see no significant differences respect to the A5100, but most said that the A5100 is superior in video. What is your verdict?

wow. I did not think that they would add this value to the a6000. I was torn between a5100 and a6000 and decided for the a6000 as my main purpose is photo and the EVF was the determining factor. But now with XAVC-S no question it seems it was the 100% right decision ;-)

Well, yes, but from lenses and overall pov if you exclude EVF, NX500 seems better :-) You just need good magnet attachable VF for it.

I have none of NX lenses but a bunch of e mount from the FS700 and the a6000 is only B-cam or for personal photo and video shots. All fine for me ;-)

And after I had sold mine :) Really awesome they added these features to the camera. Probably the best 1080p bang for buck right now.

Probably the biggest reason I can't switch to Fuji. Love its photo image quality and lens selection, but its video looks like they grafted a webcam onto the camera...

Thinking of picking up an a6000 refurbished, super cheap. Is the video quality on par with gh3/4 1080p? Good shadow recovery?

@joethepro You can shoot very flat with Portrait, -3,-1,-3 and DRO 5. Not as flat as S Log2, but fine for a camera like this, and easier to grade. There's also an app called Live View Grading that will go even flatter, bit tends to give a warm look.

What is the difference between the model numbers?

ILCE6000, ILCE6000/B, ILCE6000/S, ILCE6000L, ILCE6000L/B, ILCE6000L/S....

I found a ...6000/B on ebay, but I want to make sure Im getting the US version.

EDIT: Talked to sony rep, the /B stands for body only, L/B stands for lens + body, S stands for silver.
