Reviews and previews:
Big, slow and expensive, but probably pretty good at F2.8. It will be interesting to see how it performs at medium telephoto as there aren't a lot of choices at 60mm. The sweet spot of the Olly 45-150 zoom is right around 60-75--1 blur unit--so it better be pretty sharp.
Two good reviews of the lens :
First one is present in top post :-)
I use the Contax Zeiss 60mm f2.8 Makro-Planar, and I must say it is quite out of this world
I understand you, but it is topic about specific lens.
I can't wait to get this lens. I've read all of those reviews and it sure looks like it is a little bit better than the Leica Elamarit f2.8 Macro. Macro is about 70% of what I do as a hobbyist so I'm excited about that new Oly macro for sure.

Olympus 60mm f/2.8 Macro vs Fuji 60mm f/2.4 Macro

This lens provides a great combination of great optical performance, lightweight, compact design and value for money.
Micro four Thirds camera owners interested in macro photography should add this lens to their wish list. In fact, even if you have no interest in macro photography, the quality this lens delivers, at such a low price point will make a good option for portraiture on a relative budget also.

I really like this lens. For one it iss watherproof and functions as a great general purpose lens in bad weather conditions and secondly it is a wonderful macro lens. I used to shoot macro with a macro converter put in front of my tele lenses but the results this dedicated macro lens delivers are outstanding and play in a differen league than my macro converter. I have not tested the other dedicated macro lens for mFT the Panasonic 45mm lens but based on other reviews the working distance is shorter due to the shorter focal lenght of 45mm. With the Olympus lens it is roughly 9 cm which is very good if you want to shoot insects and try not to chase them away.
