BTW, I use mini-speakers like this to watch TV because they can be placed closer to the person watching the screen. In today's open living spaces there's a real need to think of lowering the sound levels for other people nearby who may not be watching the TV.

Less hassle than headphones, my mini-speakers sit either side of my sofa with the woofer beneath. On my coffee table there's a hard switch with volume control.
