cameras are an amazing feat of electronic and mechanical engineering.. very cool pics.. and yeah those cut it in half artists, that's got to be a intensive job.. its not like they just slap it in a bandsaw and it comes out cut in half.. lol

Wow! I had no idea I would be so fascinated by this dissection of cameras and lenses. Indeed, they are modern marvels of micro-engineering. I wonder what Daguerre, Le Prince, The Lumiere Brothers, and Edison would say if they could see how far our ability to capture moment(s) of light have come. Do you folks think our current camera technology is advanced as the inventors/pioneers would have imagined or less so? Thanks everyone for posting all of these!
