@kingmixer , the pricing policy is strange, you get more for less :-)
Well, I can confirm – I did in fact get my cage. Haven't had a chance to go over it much and use it in the field, though. I can say that my Jag35 rail system doesn't fit with the cage (I didn't necessarily expect it to), So if anyone knows of a rail mount that will fit under this, please let me know.
@kingmixer - Fantastic. Congrats. Thanks for the update.
I have the redrock dslr baseplate and it works. Of course, you have to unscrew it if you want to change batts, but that is another issue...
@mrbill , please check this video i made about mounting options : http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/comment/60569#Comment_60569
@feha - no, I meant something like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CatClaw-1-4-Male-Screw-Two-Hole-Adaptor-for-15mm-Rod-Rig-7-LCD-5D2-7d-HDSLR-/110792714365?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19cbc2a87d#ht_2675wt_1396
two of these should eliminate any twist when used with a follow focus - they'll fit to the underneath of the cage
how do you handle base plate mount? Is there still acces to the battery?
I've bought 2 of these to attach to the underside of the cage - already own the tripod plate from jag35, so that should be everything I need to get tripod mounted.
@mrbill thanks looks good! (I'd prefer it all black.. )
Here are some pictures, if you place the clamp underside you will loose the battery access ... The rods clamp you see here is from Gini, and you can ask them if they sell this clamp only ... So i use the mafrotto PL200 adapter ... (last picture)
@mrbill , i bought from eBay , but they don't have it on the list this cage+rig at present time. There is no one to sell in Europe, so i always have to pay import tax too :-( Their new website: http://camera777.com
oops, nevermind. Found it at TOTP
@rockroadpix , if you check images above the Varavon GH2 loupe wont work, I don't have the uni version it may work ....

Been living with the cage for a couple of months now, and am loving it. As regards mounting the cage on 15mm rails, I bought 2 of these -
These fit to the bottom of the cage nicely, and the cage is absolutely rock solid. The rails in turn I attach to my camera cheeseplate, so it's a very quick system to use. This method does partly obscure the battery cover, but I use one of the big batteries described in the gh2 powering post via the dc coupler and a voltage step down box, so it's no bother. Recently bought a jag35 top handle, and the whole thing feels great to work with - highly recommended bit of kit.
