Most any bacterial based pneumonia would respond rapidly to antibiotics, which nearly always is first line of defense. In fact, I would jump to the assumption, that because people and doctors are being cautious, cases of bacterial pneumonia are rare, since most people would take antibiotics at the drop of a hat.

@Vitaliy...I googled it and nothing even hints that bacterial pneumonia is being mistaken for corona. If a person wakes up with a sore throat, what's the first thing they'll do ? Probably start a 7 day regimen of antibiotics. That's what I'll do ! Got the little bottle right here. If it's bacterial, it'll never reach a critical stage. Most bacterial pneumonia is caused by neglect of the initial infection. If it progresses and the symptoms worsen while taking antibiotics, then you've got a virus. Now other types of viruses could be mistaken for corona, and a normal influenza could be easily mistaken in the beginning...but the reason I'd assume bacterial pneumonia has disappeared is paranoia. And maybe Mexico is special, but there's still plenty of medical access here. I can see a doctor in 5 minutes for $2 US.

Always ignore the bad game where intelligence select few of their reports and claim - "we told". Issue is that it is usually tiny number in huge information stream that had at least 10x more reports from same sources claiming that it is all false and no biggie.
