Notice about compatibility for Nikon Z7 with Tamron lenses
Dear users and potential purchasers of Tamron interchangeable lenses.
Thank you for using Tamron products and for your continuous support.
We would like to announce that we have discovered issues that some of Tamron Di/Di II series for Nikon mount models may not be operational properly on Nikon Z7, which was newly released on September 28, 2018, with Nikon Mount Adapter FTZ.
We are in process to search for the causes and will make further announcement of the compatibility for every single model once we find the solution.

Thanks, I'll post more photos with comments here as such things like to vanish with time.
Typical very unrational Japanese design.
Simple motherboard here with lot of connections. Such design is very common for Japanese cameras. Design originate from big company structure.
Unnecessary complexity behind motherboard. Many of it comes that lot of people trying to keep their job.
Motherboard itself, very cheap to make.
Other side of MB with surprise STM32 chip, usually this means that LSI design had been made in the rush and STM32 is performing some functions that they forgot to put properly in original design.
Same complexity.
IBIS adds lot of complexity here, and makes huge impact on sensor temperature, especially FF one.

Another teardown
Note how they try to present cheap bad use of adhesive for weather sealing as plus
Just to make people rent it more and get more money.
Flat cables locations are better compared to Canon
You can literally see lot of young Japanese engineers making this mess
More complexity to god of complexity

Strong rumors around that Nikon can drop Z7 prices in few steps
First 20-25% step can follow before year end and two other steps before Photokina 2019.
Total drop can reach 50-55% and be fastest among compeititon.
Nikon will also have big cashbacks on lenses up to 30-35% of cost.
Meet Nikon management thinking about inevitable
